10. Islam Memo (in Arabic) www.islammemo.cc

*Vialls Investigations is no longer updated as the sites creator, Joe Vialls, died in 2005.

The State Department suggests the following criteria to tell if a story is true:

  • Does the story fit the pattern of a conspiracy theory?
  • Does the story fit the pattern of an “urban legend?”
  • Does the story contain a shocking revelation about a highly controversial issue?
  • Is the source trustworthy?
  • What does further research tell you?

You said it quite well. I watch C-Span every day and I see the obvious duplicity and phony posturing go on an on by poly-ticks. These leaches have been sucking the money and life energy out of the rest of us who work hard to make a dollar that is now only worth pennies.

Wake up! US middle class both politikal partys are totally bought and controlled by big bizcorps and special interests. Read the book "War is a Racket" by a General Smedly Butler who was one of the USA's most decorated military men. He said that he was an "enforcer for big Bizness corps" who have an insatiable hunger to take the resources of other countries while it canibalizes it's own people or uses them as political whores.

There's more information which makes it impossible to blame "Muslim hijackers" for 9/11 on this one web page than on those 10 sites combined...!!!

The blacklisted websites definitely do spew
"disinformation," but the source of the disinfo here is not who the government would have you believe it is. The websites listed are part of the controlled dissent system, and are actually run by people or groups who are trying to further the zionist agenda.
The idea here is to when your appetite with the taste of "forbidden fruit." The government has listed these sites because they want you to go to them to be misinformed, and they want you to send others to these sites to make sure they never stumble upon the whole truth either. I keep seeing people jump on ron pauls band wagon, but before you go for a ride look at his voting record.

Al Jazeera?

Al Jazeera spreads disinformation?

Their inclusion suddenly gives the other nine a lot more credibility. While Bush and Co may hate them for reporting on the middle east, they are almost as reliable as the BBC in terms of factuality.

Maybe 'dis-' is also a prefix for 'we'd rather you didn't have this-'.

If more U.S. citizens had read Al Jazeera than watched Fox maybe they would understand why they lost the war.

I think a lot of you are over-reacting to this article. did you actually read it or did you just skim through? yes, it does disparage you from going to these sites but what it's really asking you to do is to simply THINK. THINK about what you're reading on these websites and don't just take it at face value. THINK to yourself "is what i'm reading/watching/hearing have reliable sources? are there sources even listed? is this a collaberation of people with differing viewpoints or is it just one person posting their personal opinion/belief? are the facts actually facts or conjecture?"

all of these questions and many more should be asked before considering an article/news program/broadcast to be true or not.

Where the people are sovereign, they must be told the truth by those chosen to represent them. Otherwise, their ability to exercise ultimate authority rationally, peacefully or by force, has been vitiated.

When governments lie as matter of course, all claims made by them are suspect, because evidence for their truth or falsity must be questioned. Especially, when no independent form of verification is open to anyone.

Then radical disbelief is rational.

Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin espoused a doctrine so dangerous in its application that it, more often than not, is invoked as cover for demagogues bent on tyranny.

But, the right of the people to know is absolute. Concessions should few, limited in scope and limited in duration.
